Mission, a thermoregulation technology company, appointed several new members to its leadership team.

Michael Abbott was promoted to COO and CFO. Shawna Hausman is now EVP of e-commerce and digital marketing, and Travis Blasingame is SVP of innovation and merchandising. The appointments add expertise and experience to the company as it continues to expand into new product categories.

Michael Abbott served as Mission’s CFO since 2014. He brings more than 30 years of financial and operating experience to his new role. Prior to joining Mission, Abbott was COO for Specialized Bicycle Components. Previously, he served as COO and CFO for Burton Snowboards.

Shawna Hausman, EVP of e-commerce and digital marketing, brings more than 18 years of retail experience to Mission, with over 10 years focused exclusively on e-commerce and digital innovation. Prior to joining Mission, Hausman was VP of e-commerce and digital marketing at Giggle in New York City. Previously, she worked for West Elm, American Eagle, Bed Bath & Beyond and Old Navy.

Travis Blasingame, SVP of innovation and merchandising, joins the company with nearly 30 years of experience in the product merchandising, development and innovation space including accessories and apparel for both men and women. He has a track record of working with athletes on performance base products. Prior to joining Mission, Blasingame was the global director of apparel at Easton Baseball/Softball in Van Nuys, CA.  Previously, he also held various global product roles at Nike, Vans and Adidas.

Mission develops, designs and delivers innovations that aim to enhance performance and speed up recovery through temperature-control technologies. The company first unveiled its line of instant cooling towels in 2012, and has since expanded its range of thermoregulating gear, accessories and apparel.
