Clay Hardin, vice president of sales for HighGear, recently announced the appointment of Kim Miller and Jack Tackle as regional sales and marketing representatives for the company's Rocky Mountain territory. Veterans of the outdoor industry, both Miller and Tackle have over 35 years combined sales rep experience and are accomplished and well-known mountaineers.
“The talent and experience that Kim and Jack bring to the HighGear team is immeasurable,” says Hardin. “They are the ideal agency to represent our fast-growing and continually evolving brand.”
Kim Miller is an expert in rock, ice and mountain climbing as well as telemark and alpine skiing. He co-founded Black Diamond with colleagues at Chouinard Equipment in 1989 and worked for the company in various positions for 16 years. Today, Miller lives in his hometown Boulder, Colorado, and continues to climb and ski all over the world.
Jack Tackle lives in Victor, Idaho, and for the past thirty years has pursued all types of climbing throughout many different ranges of the world including the Himalayas, South America, and most notably Alaska. He has successfully represented major outdoor manufacturers over the years and started his own independent sales rep agency last year with long time friend and climbing partner Miller.
