CanCooker President Seth McGinn appointed Sam Bowman as vice president of sales and marketing for the Fremont, NE-based outdoor cooking company. Bowman will be responsible for managing the CanCooker national sales force and manage national and regional trade and consumer shows as well as plan, direct and manage the marketing strategies, advertising and sponsorships for the brands. He will report directly to McGinn.
Prior to joining the CanCooker team, Bowman held the position of brand manager for Fechheimer Brothers in Cincinnati, OH. Before that, Bowman was the marketing manager for Hoyt Archery in Salt Lake City, UT and the brand manager with Rocky Brands in Nelsonville, OH. He brings with him nearly 10 years of sales, marketing and brand-management experience with leading consumer-product manufacturers and has worked with all the major sporting goods box stores, hardware stores and large chain stores.

Sam’s knowledge of the business and customer base, combined with his years of sales experience and brand management, will help the CanCooker team stay on the fast track for growth as we prepare to launch new products in the coming year.”
Bowman holds a visual communications degree from Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, OH. An avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, golfing and renovating houses, he and his son live in Cincinnati, OH.
