Amer Sports, which owns the Salomon, Wilson, Atomic, Arc’teryx, Suunto, Precor, Louisville Slugger and other sporting goods brands, released its second annual corporate responsibility report summing up initiatives and results taken in 2015.
The report introduces Amer Sports’ policies and processes in Corporate Responsibility and gives an overview of the company’s actions in selected key areas defined in 2015 by an internal team of sustainability experts.
The assessment included mapping stakeholder expectations against Amer Sports’ corporate responsibility activities; reviewing all material that the company has received about stakeholders’ expectations, including reviewing queries and ratings; analyzing relevant stakeholder publications and sector media sources, conducting interviews with internal experts in the business, and taking into account other available information. The findings are summarized in the materiality matrix, which forms a basis for Amer Sports’ sustainability reporting. The key areas and the related issues are:
