United Sports Brands division McDavid joined its sibling brands Shock Doctor and Cutters in an official partnership with USA Football, reinforcing USB’s ongoing commitment to support the performance and protection of youth and high school athletes. The sponsorship builds on a long-running relationship with USA Football, as Shock Doctor partnered with the organization in 2010 and Cutters joined the partnership in 2012.

USA Football, a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, trains more high school and youth football coaches combined than any other organization in the United States. Based in Indianapolis, USA Football’s programs and initiatives include its medically-endorsed Heads Up Football program, which has earned the support from leaders across medicine and sport. More than 1,100 high schools and nearly 70 percent of all U.S. youth leagues enrolled in Heads Up Football in 2015 for the good of their athletes.

McDavid is now an official partner of USA Football while Shock Doctor is its official mouthguard and Cutters its official glove.

In addition, products from McDavid, Cutters and Shock Doctor will be worn by athletes selected to the U.S. National Team program during USA Football-sanctioned events, including the 2017 International Bowl. USA Football manages and assembles the U.S. national teams for international competitions. Approximately 70 countries across five continental federations possess a national federation dedicated solely to football.
