Foot Locker Inc. on Oct. 1 will supply to more than More than 4,000 impoverished boys and girls at Fred Jordan Missions' 27th Annual “Caring For Kids” Back-To-School Giveaway.
The kids will also get new clothing, backpacks filled with school supplies, In-N-Out burgers and Paul Mitchell hair styles.
Throughout the day, children will star in their own “Red Carpet Runway Fashion Show,” modeling their new athletic shoes, clothing and backpacks.
In the past 27 years, more than 135,000 children have received new shoes, complete school outfits, school supplies and burgers, at the Mission's Back-to-School event, thanks to the generous partnership of Foot Locker, In-N-Out, Paul Mitchell, Knit Works, and other corporations and individuals.

The Fred Jordan Mission, open 365 days a year since 1944, provides nearly 1,000 servings of food each day for hungry families, builds orphanages, schools and hospitals, and distributes food and clothing to people living on the street. The Mission is a non-profit, faith-based, educational and relief organization emphasizing education, job training, and self-reliance.
