Modell’s Sporting Goods is scheduled to open its newest location at 204 East 161st Street in the Bronx this week. The 15,000+ square foot store, located in the Concourse Plaza next to Multiplex Cinemas, will be opening its doors on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 9 am with a ceremonial ribbon cutting with President & CEO Mitchell Modell.
This new Bronx location will offer customers value and a selection of all the top brands including Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Reebok, Majestic, and more. In addition, due to its prime location near Yankees Stadium, the 161st Street location will carry a plethora of New York Yankees merchandise to accommodate fans walking to and from the game.

The retailer operates 150+ stores located in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
