In this new position Foy will be responsible for the commercial success and profitability of the Prince and Ektelon brands in the U.S.A.

Bill will start in the new role on October 1st. He is currently CEO of Rollerblade U.S.A. and brings over 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the sporting goods industry. Bill is an avid tennis player and has a true passion for the game and the community around it.

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Bill and saw his leadership skills in action as he turned around the performance of Rollerblade, under difficult market and competitive conditions and I am excited about bringing that focus, passion and energy to Prince” said George Napier, Chairman and CEO of Prince Sports, Inc. in announcing Foy’s appointment. Napier continued, “The formation of Prince U.S.A. is an important element of our plan to re-energize the Prince and Ektelon brands. The U.S.A. is the largest worldwide market for both tennis and racquetball and it makes total sense to have a fully dedicated team committed to maximizing the brand’s potential in the U.S. market, just as we have teams focused in other markets such as Europe and Asia.”

In accepting the challenge, Foy commented, “Prince has an outstanding group of people who have jumped on board with the new management team and share a passion for racquet sports and for the Prince and Ektelon brands in particular. Tennis has always been my passion….and it is a dream come true to have the opportunity to join this group in a business and sport that has been such a big part of my life.”
