According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds during September on a national level declined 2.3 percent in September 2014 compared to September 2013.
Declines were seen in the South Atlantic, 5.7 percent; East North Central, 5.1 percent; West North Central, 4.4 percent; and Mid Atlantic, 1.5 percent.
Gains were seen in the New England, 2.7 percent; Pacific, 1.6 percent; Mountain, 1.3 percent; and South Central, 0.6 percent.
Public access play was down 2.7 percent and private course activity was down 0.4 percent. There were 3755 contributing golf courses used in this report.
