Beretta U.S.A. announced that it has hired the nationally renowned design build firm Pattillo Construction Corporation in partnership with the architectural/engineering firm brph to design and build the newest Beretta manufacturing facility to be located in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Beretta U.S.A.'s decision to expand its manufacturing capabilities in the United States by building a new facility in Gallatin, Tennessee received national news when Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Tennessee Commissioner of Economic Development Bill Hagerty announced the news at a ceremony at the State Capitol on January 29, 2014. Since that announcement, Beretta U.S.A. solicited design and construction proposals from a wide variety of national and Tennessee based architectural and design and build firms. It was only after receipt and review of those proposals that Beretta U.S.A. chose Pattillo Construction as the awardee for the project.
“We are very favorably impressed with the artistic capability, success with projects similar to ours and strong program management skills of Pattillo Construction”, noted Jeff Cooper, general manager for Beretta U.S.A. “We believe that Pattillo Construction gives us the best opportunity to complete our new manufacturing facility by the middle of next year on schedule, on budget and with a design worthy of the Beretta name.”
Pattillo Construction is located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The firm came to Beretta's attention in 2013 when the Company was looking at a variety of locations throughout the U.S. for the Company's new production facilities.

“It is important for everyone to understand that although Pattillo Construction is a Georgia based firm, we want to use contractors and subcontractors located near the Gallatin area to support this project”, Pearlman added. “Beretta U.S.A. made clear to us that it wants to reward the incentives provided to it by Governor Haslam and his team by employing Tennessee workers for this project. Using local resources is consistent with our approach on all projects.”
Design and engineering firm brph estimates that the project will be completed by mid 2015.
