Darby Communications announced the opening of a satellite office in Manhattan. During its 10 years of operation, the Darby Communications team has built strong business relationships with outdoor recreation, wellness and lifestyle editors in the New York City area. The addition of a new office will allow Darby Communications to establish more frequent communication with these contacts and will bring increased opportunities for large-scale editorial exposure and event presence among their current clientele.
“Having an office in Manhattan speaks to the evolution of the agency,” says Coral Darby, founder of Darby Communications. “A dedicated team member in the City offers more flexibility to our campaigns and means that instead of bi-annual media trips, we can expose our clients to our mainstream media contacts on a frequent basis.”
Jordan Reed, Director of Digital and Social Strategy, will manage the satellite office. During her time with the agency, Reed has been pivotal in ensuring that Darby Communications’ clients remain on the forefront of the ever-changing media landscape. Reed specializes in devising new tactics for enhancing clients’ online and social media communities. As head of the New York office, Reed will continue to manage the agency’s social media platforms, while also fielding media appointments and representing the firm’s clients at NYC-area industry events.
Darby Communications' current roster includes: Astral Designs, Aventura Clothing, Ecōths Clothing, Granite Gear, Headsweats, Hyland’s Homeopathy, Industrial Revolution, Vasque and more.
