Shock Doctor Sports has hired footwear and outdoor veteran Bill Kendall, who will be joining the company as the new vice president of sales for Insoles, specialty and outdoor.
Kendall officially starts at Shock Doctor on Monday, February 3, and he will report to Senior Vice President of Sales, John Keppeler.
In this role, Kendall will be responsible for the development of the domestic Shock Doctor Sports Insole business across all distribution channels. In addition, he will be responsible for developing the Outdoor, Action, Running and Sport specialty channels in the US for all other Shock Doctor Sports product categories. Kendall will also be charged with developing and executing the sales structure to access these new channels.
Kendall has over 25 years of experience in the Sporting Goods industry, having worked for top ski and outdoor brands, including Polarmax, Salomon, Teva, Rollerblade, Atomic and Superfeet, as well as with specialty running brands such as Timex, Zoot and PowerBar.

Shock Doctor launched performance sport insoles in the first quarter of 2013. Designed specifically to meet the needs of athletes by their particular sport, the insoles are available in two categories. The Shock Doctor Active Line includes the Ultra, Impact and Performance insoles for running, hiking, walking, training, while the Sport Line features technologically superior insoles for Cleat (football, baseball, golf and soccer), Court (basketball, tennis), Skate (hockey, inline).
