Skins Compression, the maker of gradient compression sportswear, announced that experienced sales representative, Conor Fournier, has joined the sportswear brand. In the past six months, Skins has rapidly grown the brand by putting an increased focus on growing the business with key U.S. markets. Fournier has joined forces with Skins North America as an independent rep to focus on forming and expanding partnerships in Northern California.
Fournier is an accomplished Ironman athlete in addition to a passionate runner and cyclist, making him a perfect fit for the Skins culture and brand. He also brings a deep knowledge and understanding of the retail world due to his previous experience as head buyer for Nytro Sports, one of the world's most esteemed triathlon stores.
“When looking for people to join the Skins team, we look for individuals who are not only deeply rooted in the industry, but those who live and breathe the lifestyle our brand represents. Conor’s experience and proven success in the sportswear industry, as well as his personal passion for athletics, make him a valuable asset,” said Johnny West, General Manager of Skins North America. “Skins is continuing to expand in the thriving athletic community of California, and with strategic hires such as Conor’s, we are proving our commitment to the athletic apparel industry.”
“I have spent my career establishing relationships with brands, consumers and retailers in California and around the industry. This opportunity with Skins is one that matches perfectly with my personal and professional passions,” said Conor Fournier. “I am excited to cultivate new contacts as well as expand my existing relationships to educate a wide audience on the benefits of Skins products.”
With a relentless commitment to engineering top-of-the-line, cutting-edge compression that works, Skins sets the benchmark in dynamic gradient compression. The brand’s winning formula is founded in on-going testing, science and consultation with professional athletes to design a product for peak performance. The technology-driven compression garments are specifically developed to compress muscle groups to trigger acceleration in blood flow, resulting in increased oxygen to working muscles and maximized performance. Skins compression wear is popularly known to reduce exercise-induced muscle damage, a key factor in promoting active recovery. Whatever the sport, Skins allows athletes to train harder, compete longer and recover faster.
