Dynamic Discs, a disc golf retailer, announced the opening of a second store in the historic Rosedale neighborhood of Kansas City, Kansas. The new Dynamic Discs will officially open on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2854 W 47th Street, south of Rosedale Park.

This is the second location for Dynamic Discs, which was founded as an Internet-based company in 2005 and opened a store in Emporia, KS. It carries golf discs, disc golf apparel, targets and accessories for the sport, which is also called Frisbee golf.

“Dynamic Discs' Kansas City store is ground-breaking for the sport of disc golf,” said Adam Searle, operations manager of Dynamic Discs. “It is the first of its kind in terms of branching out and opening a second location.”

The Metro Kansas City Area features a deep-rooted history of the sport and is known as one of the most active disc golf communities in the world. With about 20 courses in the Metro Area, more than 250 club members and a rich history of hosting some of the top-rated tournaments.

Dynamic Discs has partnered with the Kansas City Flying Disc Club to continue to bring disc golf to the community, teaching grade school children and their parents through the use of courses at local parks.

With the addition of a second store, Dynamic Discs will join Disc Golf World, a long-time disc golf retailer which has been in business for more than 20 years, in serving the Kansas City area. The two companies plan to work together to move the sport forward.
