Kimberlee Viera has joined the U.S. team of Icebreaker, he outdoor merino wool apparel company based in the New Zealand, as US finance director.
Based out of Icebreaker's US headquarters in Portland, OR, Viera is responsible for the finance functions across USA wholesale and retail, as well as the global e-commerce and global product design and development business units.
Viera comes to Icebreaker from Dr. Martens USA, where she was chief financial officer from 2005 to the present and was an account manager from 2002 until 2005. Her 20-year accounting career path has also included stints with Wieden + Kennedy, NACCO Materials Handling Group and OESI Power Corporation.
“Kimberlee is not your run-of-the-mill finance director. She has a refreshing holistic approach to the business. That kind of vision, coupled with her great, big company experience, makes us confident she will help us find ways to enable fast and strong growth in the US market,” said Lisa Thompson, president of Icebreaker's US operation.

When not crunching numbers and making forecasts, Viera can be found hiking, running, and spending time with her girls.
