Woolrich promoted Christa Bergey to merchandise manager in the design and merchandising area. Bergey will assist the merchandising team in defining line direction for men's and women's sportswear and outerwear.
Bergey will provide research and analysis of new product trends and the competitive landscape to the merchandising team while acting as a liaison with design, product development, sourcing, and individual business units to ensure product direction meets brand objectives, pricing targets, and is inline with market trends.
“Christa is going to be a great addition to our team,” said Rick Insley, senior vice president of Merchandising & Licensing. “She has a wonderful sense of fashion and has done a fantastic job with merchandising for our retail division.”
Bergey joined Woolrich in 2006 as a buyer of Apparel in the Retail Division and was most recently the general merchandising manager in that same division. Prior to joining Woolrich Bergey worked in the merchandising and buying offices of David's Bridal and Eagle's Eye in the Philadelphia area. Bergey has a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising from Philadelphia University.
