Vuori reported last week that it will surpass its goal of opening 100 retail locations by 2026 with the opening of its latest store in Aspen, CO, on August 8.
“The 100-store milestone is not only a humbling achievement for us to reach in the same year as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, but it signifies the incredible power and momentum Vuori continues to have,” said company Founder & CEO Joe Kudla. “Vuori exists to support people in feeling their best; clear, connected and inspired, along life’s journey and empower them to live a healthy and active lifestyle. As we continue on our global growth journey, we firmly believe that in addition to providing customers the ability to touch, feel and try on our products, our retail locations should also serve as hubs to drive authentic and meaningful relationships with the local community.”
To commemorate the milestone store’s opening,, Vuori’s store fleet celebrated by hosting an ‘Investment in Happiness Day’ for the community on August 9
“Since being established in 2015, Vuori has quickly reinforced itself as a category disruptor in the activewear market by offering a differentiated and more versatile perspective on performance apparel,” the company said in a media release. “After garnering widespread attention and loyalty from consumers in the United States, the brand has strategically expanded its global omni-channel presence, now serving customers across close to 30 countries through a growing network of brick-and-mortar locations and a robust network of distributors.”
Growing beyond the 100-store milestone, Vuori now anticipates a continued, methodical expansion of owned locations. By 2026, it will have 15 stores outside the U.S., cementing its momentum and global presence. This follows recent flagship openings in London and Shanghai, with more stores planned for Seoul in September and Beijing in October.
Last month, Andy Lawrence, Vuori’s SVP of International, said the company views international expansion as something like a slingshot: pulled back to build strength before accelerating and launching forward.
“The foundational work we’re doing now is setting us up for quicker, sustainable acceleration in the years to come.”
