Revelyst Inc. has appointed Naren Varatharajah as chief financial officer as part of a planned CFO transition. Varatharajah joins the company from VF Corp., having most recently served as VP of Transformation since September 2024.

Before that, he spent over 20 years with VF Corp. working in several finance roles worldwide, including global CFO for the Vans brand and CFO for the company’s Asia Pacific and India divisions.

Varatharajah will be based in Revelyst’s Irvine, California office, which also serves as the headquarters for Revelyst Adventure Sports.

“Naren’s experience in the outdoor industry, financial acumen and strong cultural fit with Revelyst made him the perfect candidate to complete our CFO transition,” said Eric Nyman, CEO of Revelyst. “With a results-oriented and purpose-led approach, Naren is a seasoned global finance executive whose leadership spans North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, including Greater China. Naren’s background is ideally suited to helping Revelyst continue our journey to become the world’s most admired sports technology and outdoor gear company. We are thrilled to welcome him to Team Revelyst.”

“I’m honored to join Revelyst during this pivotal moment in its journey,” Varatharajah said. “I am excited to work alongside Eric and the entire leadership team to strengthen our financial strategy and accelerate value creation. Revelyst’s dynamic portfolio of brands and forward-thinking vision offer tremendous opportunities, and I’m committed to unlocking untapped potential and driving smart growth across our business.”

Varatharajah succeeds Andy Keegan, who is stepping down after 13 years with the company and its predecessor companies, Vista Outdoor and ATK. He joined ATK in 2012 and held several positions of increasing leadership with ATK’s, Vista Outdoor’s and Revelyst’s finance teams. Keegan was noted as “instrumental in the years-long separation of Vista Outdoor into two standalone entities — Revelyst and The Kinetic Group.” Keegan will remain with Revelyst for the remainder of August to onboard Varatharajah and ensure a smooth CFO transition.

Revelyst’s brands include Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, Fox, Bell, Giro, CamelBak, Bushnell, and Simms Fishing.
