Authentic Brands Group, the owner of the Reebok, Eddie Bauer, Quicksilver, Roxy, DC Shoes, Brooks Brothers, Aéropostale, Nautica, Lucky Brand, and Nine West brands, among many others, is warning people of attempts to collect personal information via fraudulent job offers and interview requests.

“We have been made aware of fraudulent job offers and interview requests being sent by individuals falsely claiming to represent Authentic,” the company said in a LinkedIn post. “These scams are often initiated via email, employment websites and social media, and may include fake interview requests, offer letters or attempts to collect personal and financial information.”

The company stressed that:

  • All legitimate Authentic job postings can be found only on its official website (authentic.com) or through its verified LinkedIn page here.
  • Authentic does not conduct interviews over Teams or Zoom without prior email correspondence from a verified @authentic.com email address.
  • The company will never ask for sensitive personal information, payment or banking details as part of the hiring process. If anyone believes that have been contacted by someone impersonating an Authentic team member, the company is asking that it be reported immediately by emailing: peopleandculture@authentic.com.
