Stamford, Conn. (June 27, 2025) – Lowa Boots, the global footwear brand known for more than 100 years of handcrafted European design and engineering, today announced its Spring/Summer 2026 product line. The collection introduces new styles across mountaineering, backpacking, and trail running, emphasizing lightweight construction, premium materials, and Lowa’s signature precision fit, designed to meet the demands of today’s diverse outdoor pursuits.
“For Spring 2026, we’re building on the momentum of our trail running category, while staying true to our roots in mountaineering and backpacking that have defined Lowa for more than a century,” said Peter Sachs, general manager of Lowa. “This collection reflects our commitment to thoughtful innovation across all categories, delivering the performance, durability and fit that our customers have trusted for generations.”
New to the mountaineering category, the Cervino GTX, available in men and women’s styles, is a lightweight, highly technical model inspired by the legendary Monte Cervino (Matterhorn). Designed for challenging alpine terrain, it features a durable textile and leather upper, waterproof Gore-Tex lining and a carbon-reinforced PU midsole for control combined with cushioning. The Vibram Mtn Master outsole delivers traction and precision on steep and variable terrain, making it a top choice for advanced climbing and approach scenarios.
The backpacking category expands with several versatile models for extended comfort and support. The Lady Light Evo GTX features durable, sustainably produced Heinen Terracare Nubuck Leather, a women’s-specific fit, Gore-Tex waterproof lining, and a Vibram Lady Trac outsole for breathable, all-terrain performance. The Lady Light Evo II utilizes the same construction, but with a soft glove leather lining that’s ideal for moisture management in hot and dry conditions.
The Lowa Explorer GTX Mid and Lo, for men and women, is the most lightweight backpacking boot ever offered by Lowa. It delivers high-performance comfort with a split leather and fabric upper, Gore-Tex lining and new Litecell PU midsole technology, which combines the benefits of both PU (stability and durability) and EVA (soft-feeling cushioning and light weight). It’s built on the Vibram Trac Control outsole for traction across mixed terrain. For a lower-cut alternative, the Lowa Explorer GTX Lo is a more flexible and casual silhouette, ideal for fast hikes, approaches and all-day travel. Notably, Lowa’s mountaineering and backpacking lines are constructed using cemented methods, making them fully resoleable — offering extended service life through midsole and outsole replacement down the line.
The Skyterra is the newest addition to Lowa’s trail running category, a cushioned and responsive shoe designed for long distances on both technical and flowy trails. With a breathable mesh and synthetic upper, moisture-wicking textile lining and a rocker-shaped high rebound supercritical Dynatpe midsole, the Skyterrakeeps runners comfortable and energized over rough terrain. The ATR insole adds support and structure for high-mileage outings.
Rounding out the collection, Lowa introduces fresh color updates to two of its most popular hiking families: the Renegade Evo GTX in olive/navy, grey, brown rose/clay, and sage and the Innovo GTX in black/grey, navy/gray, olive/sage, navy/arctic, and dark petrol/moor. These new seasonal colorways offer outdoor enthusiasts updated style options without compromising performance or fit.
