Specialized Bicycle Components announced a voluntary recall, in cooperation with the Consumer Products Safety Commission, of the Globe-Branded Haul ST and LT E-Bikes due to a fall hazard.
This recall (No. 25-319) involves the 13-inch telescopic seat posts that the company originally equipped on the Specialized Globe-branded Haul ST e-bikes and Haul LT e-bikes. “Haul ST” and “Haul LT” are printed on the bicycle’s downtube.
Consumers should immediately stop using the e-bikes and contact an authorized Specialized retailer to schedule a free repair at the retailer. The repair will consist of a new post made of a different material.
The company has received 13 reports of incidents, including two minor injuries consisting of scrapes and bruises.
The e-bikes were sold at stores and other authorized Specialized retailers nationwide, as well as online at specialized.com, from January 2023 through March 2025, for between $2,500 and $ 3,500.
Specialized Bicycle Components Inc., of Morgan Hill, CA, manufactured the bikes in Taiwan.
