Mondraker announced that Mariano Gon has been appointed U.S. sales director, effective February 3, 2025.
Chris Bogue, Mondraker USA’s manager, said, “We’re excited to have Mariano join Mondraker USA. His leadership, industry expertise and unique perspective are invaluable as we continue building our presence in the U.S. market.”
Gon began his career in the cycling industry in the early 1990s, distributing mountain bike brands in Spain. Recognizing the sport’s potential, he transitioned to the U.S., where he has spent the past 25 years honing his sales and cycling industry expertise.
With this new role, Mondraker said in a media release that “Gon brings his extensive experience, strategic vision and passion for mountain biking to Mondraker’s growing presence in the U.S.”
Gon shared, “Joining Mondraker is a dream realized—it feels like coming home. My Spanish roots and connection to the culture align perfectly with Mondraker’s identity, and I’m eager to bring that passion to our retailers and customers in the U.S. I’m excited to join the team in Boulder, CC, and help drive Mondraker’s growth in this key market. The future looks incredibly bright.”
Mondraker’s CEO Miguel Pina added, “Mariano’s arrival strengthens our U.S. team and positions us for success in one of the most important markets for our brand. His understanding of the American market and ability to connect with dealers and customers will help bring Mondraker’s passion and innovation to new heights. It’s an honor to welcome him to the team.”
