Bushnell Inc. and its technology partner Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI) have reached a settlement in connection with their patent infringement lawsuit against the Brunton Company.
Bushnell and LTI sued the Brunton Company and other defendants for patent infringement in January 2009 and obtained a preliminary injunction from the U.S. District Court of Kansas. The District Court found that the Brunton Company and its manufacturer Lanshuo likely infringed on Bushnell patents and therefore prohibited them from importing and selling certain laser rangefinder products.
The settlement requires permanently stopping sales of the infringing Brunton laser rangefinders and paying Bushnell an undisclosed settlement amount.
