Lazard, Inc. announced that Stephen Finkel has joined the firm as a managing director and global head of Sports Advisory based in New York.
In addition, the firm also welcomed Manoel Carvalho as a managing director and Bryan Tannenbaum as a vice president of the firm’s Media, Entertainment & Sports advisory group.
Lazard previously announced that Ben Braun had joined the company as global head of Media, Entertainment & Sports.

Finkel was previously a senior managing director at Guggenheim Securities, where he led the sports advisory practice. Before joining Guggenheim in 2017, he was a managing director focused on sports and media at Rothschild & Co., which he joined from Credit Suisse. Finkel had previously been a corporate attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Previously, Carvalho was a managing director focused on sports, media and entertainment at Guggenheim Securities, which he joined in 2017 from Rothschild & Co., where he worked in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group. He began his career in consulting at Deloitte.
