Ahead of Snoop Dogg releasing his new record, Missionary, Skechers, in honor of his 15 gold albums, is dropping the Snoop One Gold Medal Snoop sneaker in a limited run.
Originally part of a five-piece custom Skechers capsule, the Snoop One – Gold Medal Snoop shoe is available exclusively on skechers.com and select Skechers retail stores beginning today, Thursday, December 12, for men and women.
During his stint as Team USA’s #1 cheerleader and Skecher’s unofficial “Ambassador of Happiness,” Snoop Dogg “lived up to the Olympic theme of all-gold everything, adding a 14K touch to several of his custom looks worn throughout the games, including the official uniform he wore as he carried the flames into the City of Lights,” said Skechers in a media release. “Never one to compromise comfort for style, Snoop Dogg personally chose the golden Skechers kicks to complete his torch-bearing duties.”
Snoop wore the high-top sneakers during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Crafted with embossed gold leather, the Skechers x Snoop Dogg: Snoop One – Gold Medal Snoop is a luxe court-style sneaker with gold laces and gold paisley trim accented with a ribbon in the French flag colors, celebrating Snoop Dogg’s “iconic torch bearing moment.”
