Lyman Products has hired Tom Ricks as director of sales and marketing for Lyman and its brand family.

Ricks joins Lyman with over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, working for consumer-facing products and media companies. He most recently held leadership roles in marketing at ESPN and led the company’s ESPN Outdoors and B.A.S.S. business units. He also developed sales and marketing plans for the ESPN network and the brands advertised across ESPN’s digital channels.

Ricks has also held prior executive positions in sales and marketing at Pure Fishing, Inc., where he led product development, marketing and customer development for key brands, including Abu Garcia, Fenwick and Berkley. He also called on and developed relationships with outdoor retailers and dealers across the outdoor industry. Prior to that, Ricks worked at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, where he held marketing and finance roles.
