Bass Pro plans to open a store in Corpus Christi, TX in 2025, the retailer’s 21st in the state.
News of the retailer opening a store was announced during a news conference led by local Bass Pro officials and Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette Guajardo.
Bass Pro had reportedly been in talks to open a store in Corpus Christi for two years. Bass Pro representative Mike Dunham said, that the retailer will “take the Coastal Bend region’s fish and other wildlife species into account in the store’s design.”
“There are no stores alike,” Dunham continued. “Every one is uniquely built to pay tribute to the heritage of its region.”
