Nike’s latest signature shoe, the LeBron XXII, focuses on delivering “maximum lockdown control, all while maintaining the speed, lightweight feel and court connection that [LeBron] loves in his recent signature models,” said Ross Klein, senior director of Men’sMen’s Basketball Footwear Product Design.

“The LeBron XXII introduces a new midfoot saddle construction that acts as a guardrail and provides a natural control and stability, enabling the next generation [shoe] to lock in, take off and push the limits with confidence,” said Nike in a media release.

The LeBron XXII also features Cushlon 2.0 foam throughout the midsole for enhanced comfort, while Zoom technology in the heel and forefoot secures propulsion and soft landings. The low-top silhouette keeps athletes grounded and allows for unrestricted movement with control. Outsole features include traction zones to support jab steps, reverse pivots, takeoffs, and step-backs.

The LeBron XXII hints at LeBron’s style with bold colorways inspired by his design influence and his signature embedded in the heel.

The silhouette will be available in kids’ sizes 1Y-7Y. Subtle design changes were made to ensure a kid-right fit and feel, including the removal of Zoom technology and modifications to the outsole tread.

The release of the LeBron XXII closely follows the announcement of his first training shoe, the LeBron TR1, an all-day silhouette for multisport athletes seeking performance and street style.

The LeBron XXII will be available at nike.com and select retail locations on November 1.
