Mavic has appointed François Joly as its new head of sales. He will oversee all commercial activities, including OEMs, which he previously led, and the sales teams responsible for aftermarkets and distributors.
The company said in a media release, “With his extensive experience at Mavic, where he has demonstrated his expertise and leadership in the OEM sector, François Joly will now take on the mission of developing the company’s overall commercial strategy. He will also be responsible for strengthening relationships with distributors and supporting sales growth in the aftermarket market.”
“We are delighted to entrust this key position to François Joly,” said Alberto Morgando, CEO of Mavic. “His experience and deep knowledge of our sector make him an invaluable asset to successfully implement our commercial strategy. We are confident that he will continue to develop our partnerships with distributors while fostering growth in our aftermarket business.”
Holy joined Mavic in September 2023 as global OEM BU manager. Before that, he worked for one year as a sales director at Neomouv in LeMans, France, after eight years as a sales and marketing manager and member of the Board of Directors at Mach 1 Wheel Components. Previous sales roles include one year as France’s representative at Iko/Corratec and seven years at Omyacolor/Fila Group.
The company, primarily known for its bicycle wheels business, said Holy’s appointment “marks an important step in strengthening Mavic’s commercial activities and demonstrates the brand’s commitment to providing high-quality products and services to its customers and partners worldwide.”
