Holland, MI (Sept. 25, 2024) – Heel announces the Heel Virtual Dog Leash – Roam 350—the first-ever virtual leash that is designed to automatically keep up to three dogs near their owners — while on the move. Heel’s mission is to enable dogs to spend more time together with their humans outdoors, taking on new adventures.
Whether you’re hiking, camping, running, at the dog park or working around the homestead, Heel will keep your dogs nearby, and in control. The built-in-the-USA technology was originally developed during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure social distancing between humans. Unlike some brands that offer static containment, the Heel Virtual Dog Leash allows the dog owner to set the length of the virtual leash, and then the virtual boundary moves with the human as they move.
Heel technology does not rely on cellular, GPS or WiFi making it suitable for remote locations— such as on the hiking trail or off-the-grid. There is also no subscription required.
Heel’s Autoprox technology works anywhere your adventures take you and is extremely accurate, allowing for a virtual leash as short as 10 feet and up to 750 feet. Heel automatically measures how far the collar is from the remote and provides a tone or vibration correction when a dog approaches the boundary. There is also an optional static correction when the dog exceeds the set boundary.
“We are proud to introduce Heel technology with the goal of creating happier and healthier dogs,” said Jason Grant, CEO. “The Roam 350 is an innovative solution that allows all of the dogs and their people to spend more time together without the limitations of a physical leash. Heel is all about off-leash flexibility, a renewed sense of freedom and fun for all.”
