Tefron Ltd. appointed Amit Meridor as its chief executive officer, effectiv, January 21. He has over 15 years of experience in the textile industry, executive managerial experience in business development, special situations and turnaround programs.
Previously, Meridor served as the CEO for CMT Medical where he executed a turnaround plan for the company and facilitated the merger of CMT Medical with a large European electronics and systems company. He graduated from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology with a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering. He also obtained an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
