Reef, the beach lifestyle brand, appointed Daniella Turenshine as chief financial officer. Most recently, Turenshine was the CFO at Figs since December 2021 and, before that, the senior vice president of Finance and Strategy since November 2018 at Figs.
Earlier in her career, Turenshine was the vice president of Garnett Station Partners, a growth-oriented investment firm, where she reportedly helped to build out Fridababy, a consumer products company. Before that, she worked in private equity at Avista Capital Partners and in investment banking at Credit Suisse.
Turenshine received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB with high honors in Finance and Economics from Princeton University.
As the CFO of Reef, Turenshine will report to company CEO Gregg Ribatt, who said, “We are very excited to have Daniella join Reef as CFO as we continue to develop a very talented team focused on driving high-quality, sustainable growth for Reef and our global brand partners. Da” iella has deep experience building high-growth consumer brands and in leading high-performance finance teams.”

She officially began her role on April 22 and replaces David Lin, who was the Reef’s CFO for the last seven years.
