Goodwill Industries International will continue its partnership with FLW Outdoors. Goodwill Industries will continue to collect donations at each FLW Tour event in 2010.
Sales of donations in Goodwill stores help fund job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who need them most in local communities. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“This partnership between FLW Outdoors and Goodwill has shown that organizations can find unique ways to help benefit our communities,” said Trisha Blake, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of FLW Outdoors. “Goodwill helps thousands of people every day and we are proud to continue our relationship with them and help in their efforts to transform lives through work.”
“Goodwill's partnership with FLW Outdoors is making an economic investment in local communities,” said Jim Gibbons, president and CEO for Goodwill Industries International. “The generous donations of FLW Outdoors fans enable local Goodwills to help their neighbors find jobs, earn paychecks and support themselves and their families during these tough economic times.”
Goodwill, which has more than 2,300 retail stores throughout the United States and Canada, will have the opportunity to use the resources of FLW Outdoors to drive traffic and awareness to its locations.
