Point6, designer and manufacturer of wool socks, takes on two new sales representatives, Smoky Anderson and Owen Dennehy to cover areas in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico.
Anderson and Dennehy have worked together since 2000 and collectively bring decades of experience from both the ski and outdoor industries. Together they manage an independent sales agency, Smoky Anderson Inc., in Georgetown, Colo. where they represent Eagle Creek Travel Gear, Patagonia Footwear, Katadyn, Pacific Outdoor Equipment, and now point6.
Anderson is a Colorado native who began his career as a rep over 30 years ago. Dennehy was lured to the Colorado Mountains from New Jersey to attend college and has worked for both Adventure 16 in San Diego and Black Diamond in Salt Lake City.
“The combined experience, knowledge and networking relationships that Smoky and Owen have established will be a great opportunity for the point6 brand to build sustainable relationships with outdoor and ski retailers,” said Betsy Seabert, marketing director for point6. “We are very excited to have them on board and we know it will help propel the brand in the Rocky Mountain region.”
Although point6 is a new brand, founders Peter and Patty Duke helped establish the awareness of performance merino wool in the outdoor industry 16 years ago, and bring Point6 to the outdoor market as the next step in the evolution of the merino wool movement.
