IPATH, the skate footwear brand owned by Timberland Inc., appointed Craig Metzger as its new director of marketing. Metzger brings to IPATH more than fifteen years experience in the action sports industry, including work in brand management, marketing and creative direction.
Metzger was formerly creative director with element and brand marketing manager at Sole Technology In addition to his work with element and Sole Tech, Metzger ran a successful consulting agency that partnered with a wide range of influential brands, including DC Shoes, Incase, Jack Spade, Nike, MTV, Spitfire and Vans.
“During the last two years IPATH has really started to gain some new momentum with both the marketing of the team and products they back. I’m looking forward to continuing the great work that’s taken place and pushing the brand forward through new initiatives,” said Metzger.
