Yeti Holdings hired Layne Rigney as head of softgoods, which includes oversight of the Mystery Ranch business the company recently acquired.
An industry veteran, Most recently, Rigney was a board member at Sea to Summit and Marucci Sports but shifted his focus to the Yeti role in January 2023. Previously, Rigney was CEO of Osprey Packs and president at Camelbak after earlier years at Franklin Resource Group, PowerBar and RockShox.
“He has worked across North America and the EMEA and will “bring connectivity and executive-level operating experience to key growth markets,” said Sea to Summit when he was first appointed to the Board position there, replacing Sally McCoy after she stepped down to pursue other interests.
Rigney also served on the Board of Directors for the Outdoor Industry Association and Camber Outdoors, with experience driving industry-wide policy, sustainability efforts, and increasing outdoor participation.
