State Bicycle Co. has teamed up with fashion brand, Carrots by Anwar Carrots, and American rapper, Freddie Gibbs for a limited edition 29” Big BMX Cruiser. The bike features a 4130 Chromoly Steel frame and rolls on pink 29” wheels. Staying true to State Bicycle Co.’s fixed-gear roots, the bike has a flip-flop hub, so riders who want to experience fixed-gear riding can easily switch between fixed/freewheel (traditional coasting) gearing.
Anwar Carrots and Freddie Gibbs joined forces to introduce their modern streetwear label, Rabbits, in early 2023. Their partnership with State was a seamless match, given the brand’s reputation for collaborating with icons in the realms of music and pop culture. The bike itself utilizes selective coloring and logo hits to highlight the collaboration, seamlessly brining fashion, hip hop, and cycling together into a complete bicycle for all to ride and enjoy.
