Camp365, the fold-out cabin camper manufacturer, announced its Camp365 T Model, its latest platform in the pickup-camper category, is scheduled to begin production in early summer 2024.
Made in the USA and designed to meet the needs of electric vehicle owners looking for a truck bed option that has minimal impact on range, the T Model works with the Rivian R1, Ford Lighting, Tesla Cybertruck, and other mid-size trucks.
The T Model weighs 700-to-800 pounds, depending on options, but travels as a streamlined unit with reduced wind resistance. The design’s aerodynamics account for “an estimated 5 percent to 10 percent loss in range, miles ahead of competitors who lose nearly 50 percent of range with an 8,000-pound payload,” said Camp365.
Measuring approximately 4′ x 7′ in a truck bed, the T Model quickly unfolds to 9′ x 7′ (63-square-foot interior), which sleeps 4-5 and affords 6’8″ of headroom, and is storeable in a residential garage.
The equipment’s patented technology “allows one person to load or unload the camper in approximately 10 minutes.”
Taking design cues from the company’s original Camp365 model, the T Model allows for year-round camping with dual-layer air gap insulated walls. The all-electric camper is solar-ready.
