Gramicci has added two more well-known outdoor apparel industry sales representatives to its sales team. This follows on the recent announcement of other new representatives, bringing Gramicci closer to finalizing a new nationwide sales team.

The Frontier Group Inc., which has almost 30 years of experience with leading outdoor and sporting goods brands, has been tapped to cover a Pacific Northwest region comprised of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. Independent representative Kyle Bezanson of Kyle Bezanson Sales, based in Rocklin, CA, will cover the company’s northern California and Nevada territory. Bezanson comes to Gramicci with more than 15 years of experience in his territory in the outdoor and fitness channels.

Gramicci previously expanded its already strong sales organization in April with the appointments of six independent reps. The enlarged team of seasoned sales executives will lead a soon-to-be-launched initiative called “Being There” that is designed to make it easier for the company to “be there” and better serve its retailers.

“We have always partnered with leading brands in the outdoor and sporting goods industry as well as bringing quality new ones to our retailers. We have a great blend of veterans and young talent on our team,” said Scott Ohsman, co-principal of the Frontier Group, which is based in Tacoma, WA.

“I’m excited to have such a seasoned staff of representatives with such a strong history in the industry who can reach out to the retailers who haven’t seen the new Gramicci,” said Patricia Babka, vice president of sales for Gramicci.

The newcomers join the company’s existing network comprised of  Rincon Group in the Rocky Mountains (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico); GreenRep.org covering six New England states; Denne Sports Sales covering a 13-state Midwest region extending from the Dakotas to Pennsylvania and south to Kentucky; The Horton Company handling Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma; and Rod Thomas of Chatttanooga who heads up the efforts in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.

With the newest reps in place, Babka is nearing the completion of moves to assemble a sales team that will lead the “Being There” initiative, which includes not only intensified sales efforts to promote higher levels of service, but a new showroom located conveniently in Boulder, Colo. She is currently looking to fill the southern California and Mid-Atlantic regions with independent reps, which will then complete the sales force.

“We offer stores looking for a solution to sluggish sales and profits a product that resonates with consumers. Our growing sales team can reach a greater number of stores with our message,” concluded  Gramicci president Marty Weening.
