Bajío Sunglasses, maker of blue-light filtering, sustainably-made sunglasses manufactured to save the world’s saltwater flats and estuaries, added Stiltsville to its spring 2023 collection.
Named after the ruins of prohibition-era social clubs in Biscayne Bay, Stiltsville is the newest in Bajio’s Tight Lines family of frames.
Bajío sunglasses feature proprietary Lapis lens technology. Stiltsville is a full-wrap frame with narrow temples with sun protection using Bajío’s built-in Sun Ledge. As with all Tight Lines frames, Stiltsville has an 8-base curve with two-way flex hinges, non-slip rubber temple tips, rubber nose pads, and the option for prescription lenses.
Bajío said it plans to add more styles to the Tight Lines collection throughout 2023.

These styles are great for those who need eye protection after years on the water and those looking to significantly reduce harmful blue and yellow light exposure.”
Stiltsville frames are made from plant-based nylon that biodegrades quickly and is gentler on the ocean. They are stronger and lighter than plastic frames. Stiltsville has thirteen lens options—seven lens colors made from bio-based polycarbonate and six from glass. Both polycarbonate and glass lenses feature anti-scratch properties and oleophobic coatings, which make sunscreen and water easy to remove. All Bajío lenses feature the brand’s proprietary Lapis technology, and each lens is suitable for specific light conditions and environments.
