Primus, the Swedish cooking equipment brand, commemorates its 130th anniversary with a collection of heritage logo gear with packaging that features original graphics from its earlier years. The limited run will become a collector’s edition.
Primus was founded in a small blacksmith workshop in central Stockholm when F.W. Lindqvist and J.V. Svenson created the first soot-free kerosene stove. They called it the Primus, meaning “first” in Latin. Primus became known for its reliable stoves and as the first choice on expeditions.
Primus 130-Year Heritage Collection includes:
- Heritage Classic Trail Stove was launched in the early 1980s, the static four-point pot support offers stability and wind resistance when holding various pot sizes. A wide flame heats large pots to cook for 1-to- 3 people, and the heat can boil a liter of water in under four minutes. Each numbered stove is one-of-a-kind.
- Heritage Easy Light Lantern illuminates any campsite with its 490-lumen output. The compact lantern spreads light efficiently and requires minimal space with its retro carry tin. The Piezo ignition makes lighting fast, and the patented burner is quiet and efficient.
- Heritage Eat and Drink Bundle iincludes a plate, pint glass and cutlery set for camping or traveling. The stainless steel utensils do not retain or impart flavors and are dishwasher-safe.
