Gear re-Store opened an East Coast repair facility in the Philadelphia suburb of Folcroft to better serve the company’s Eastern-based customers and ski resorts to reduce shipping time, costs and carbon footprint when transporting goods across the U.S.
The Philadelphia repair facility joins its other repair centers in Denver and Calgary to serve its brand partners throughout North America.
Gear re-Store repairs most soft goods for the active lifestyle community, including technical outerwear, tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags. It also offers a technical laundry service (technical wash and DWR re-application), an industry-focused RFID platform for tracking repairs and an End of First Life (EO1L) program to assist brand partners in landfill diversion/avoidance.
The company, recently recognized by the Toronto Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies, is Gore-certified at all locations.
