Michigan-based GroupeSTAHL hired Derek Nugent as chief financial officer.
Nugent is a 16-year veteran in finance and accounting, working in the technology, automotive, manufacturing, and defense sectors. Most recently, he was the CFO at Firmo, an automotive manufacturing company specializing in automotive interiors.
As CFO for GroupeSTAHL, Nugent will assess the company’s business plan while assessing emerging opportunities.

GroupeSTAHL started as a small family-run letter and numbers business in Detroit in 1932. Today, the company is a global manufacturer and distributor of garment decoration equipment, materials, transfer technologies, and decorated apparel. Products range from performance wear and team uniforms to accessories and sporting goods.
