Lotto Sport Italia, an Italian company that manufactures sports footwear, clothing and accessories, has appointed Star 360 Sdn Bhd as its new licensee for the Malaysian market.


The agreement will allow the new licensee to market Lotto’s branded products throughout Malaysia until December 31, 2013 with a renewal option for a further 5 year term.


Luca Tomat, business unit director Asia Pacific of Lotto Sport Italia, commented, “Malaysia is a key strategic market for a soccer specialist brand like Lotto but also a promising country for our expansion ambitions into sport lifestyle.”


Star 360 has come up with a distinctive strategy to market the performance and sportswear collections characterised by typical Italian technology, design and style. As well as including the Lotto international collection, the lines offered include specially catered products to meet the Malaysian market needs.


Lotto Sport Italia will be distributed in sports specialised chain-stores and large stores with dedicated sports departments. Star 360 will also emphasize Lotto’s presence by developing the retail area through mono-brand stores.
