Academy Sports + Outdoors announced the opening of its Conyers, GA store. The store, located at 1448 Old Salem Road, is 58,000 square feet and provides approximately 60 new jobs in the area. Academy now has 11 locations across metro Atlanta and 19 in Georgia.
The store officially opens on April 29 with a grand opening.

We look forward to providing a convenient location that offers top brands, value, and excellent customer service.”
Academy continuously provides support in the Atlanta Metro area through community donations and over 40 local partnerships. Academy is also the official sporting goods retailer of the Atlanta Braves and Gwinnett Stripers.
The Conyers, GA store is the first of two new stores the retailer will open in the metro Atlanta area in 2022. This fall, a store will open near Perimeter Center.
Academy has 260 stores across 16 states in the U.S.
