W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. selected Cycles Lambert to distribute its new low friction shifting and braking cable systems in Canada. Lambert will be the exclusive provider of GORE RideOn Cable Systems to IBDs nationwide.
GORE RideOn Cable Systems were re-introduced into the United States and European cycling markets last fall. W.L. Gore claims the patented cable system use superior coating technology to provide smooth, reliable shifting and braking-regardless of riding conditions.
Cycle Lambert agreed earlier this year to also distribute GORE BIKE WEAR in Canada. Sell-in will begin September 2008 with GORE RideOn Cable Systems product hitting retail later in the month and GORE BIKE WEAR products hitting retail in February 2009.
“Lambert is considered one of the premium distributors of cycling products in Canada,” said Lois Mabon, global product manager of GORE RideOn Cable Systems.
Cycle Lambert distributes over 15,000 parts and accessories to more than 1,500 retailers across the country.
