Pelé Soccer celebrated its grand opening in the downtown Disney district at the Disneyland Resort.
The store offers official jerseys and fanwear from clubs and countries worldwide, limited-edition footwear and soccer accessories. This includes a collection from local teams, LA Galaxy, LAFC, and, soon, Angel City FC.
In-store features include the ability to customize jerseys with a player’s name and number or a customer’s name and number. The store also features TV streaming live games and a California-inspired mural by artist, Mark Johnson, featuring iconic players, including David Beckham, Brandi Chastain and Pelé.
To celebrate the store’s opening, Pelé Soccer released a limited number of Nike’s first soccer shoes, The Nike, circa 1971.
The store’s location is the brand’s fourth retail location in the U.S. after Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL; Lincoln Road in Miami Beach; and Times Square in New York City.
