Saucony, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, Inc., announced it had appointed industry veteran Brian Moore to senior vice president, global product, effective immediately. 

In his new role, Moore is responsible for guiding the company’s global footwear and apparel strategies, including design, development and product innovation. Moore reports to Saucony’s global brand president, Anne Cavassa and joins its senior leadership team.  

“Brian is no stranger to Saucony, having started his impressive footwear career with the brand over two decades ago,” said Cavassa. “He returns to Saucony as a visionary product leader with a proven track record of building global performance lifestyle brands and highly collaborative work teams. Brian’s commitment to innovation, design and brand heritage is a winning formula to drive Saucony’s continued brand momentum in a highly competitive marketplace. Moore began his athletic footwear career at Saucony 25 years ago as vice president of product marketing and design. During that time, he created performance products that continue to stand as the brand’s key franchise models, including the Triumph, Omni, Ride, and Guide. He also created and launched its Originals classic footwear business.

Moore returned to Saucony most recently from Tracksmith where he worked as chief product officer/partner leading merchandising, design, development, and sourcing for its direct-to-consumer running business.  Moore’s career also includes executive leadership roles, including vice president of global footwear for The North Face, vice president of global men’s footwear for Timberland and general manager of Gravis, an action sports footwear and apparel brand and a division of Burton Snowboards.

Throughout his career, he has led product teams recognized with numerous industry awards from Runner’s WorldOutside MagazineTrail Running and was a 2009 SGB 40 Under 40 Award Honoree
