Michael Gamble has been named the new Vice President of Sales for Exxel Outdoors Inc. Gamble was previously a Regional Territory Sales Manager for Rocky Brands, Inc, and held management positions with Skechers USA, Hartwell Industries and Georgia Boot Company. Former Exxel Vice President of Sales Donald Sands will become Vice President of Production.
“As Exxel Outdoors is growing so quickly, we searched for that key sales executive who could lead our sales team to master this era of expansion,” remarked Harry Kazazian, founder and CEO of Exxel Outdoors. “With fuel prices rising, people are staying closer to home for their recreational pursuits, and our family camping and recreational gear sales are going full-throttle,” explained Kazazian. “Mike's extensive sales and marketing talents are a perfect match for Exxel.”
Exxel Outdoors has a licensing agreement with Disney Consumer Products to distribute Disney camping and water sports gear. Exxel's brands include Suisse Sport, X2O Water Sports, Master Sportsman, Prestige Apparel, and Exxel Outdoors for family camping. The company also manufactures OEM for numerous chain-store private labels. Exxel Outdoors supplies major discount chains and sporting goods retailers, including Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart/Sears, Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Cabela's, Big Five Sporting Goods, and many others, in addition to numerous e-commerce sites.
