Fox Soccer Channel will air its 2008 MLS Season Preview Show, presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods on Sunday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

This hour-long look at America’s premier soccer league – the only show of its kind among MLS’s national broadcast partners – begins with a review of the 2007 season, which culminated with the Houston Dynamo winning a second consecutive MLS Cup title. Host Max Bretos will then take an in-depth look at the prospects of all 14 MLS teams, detailing off-season personnel changes as squads gear up for the new campaign.

The 2008 season sees the return of the San Jose Earthquakes to the league following a two-year hiatus. Head Coach Frank Yallop and goalkeeper Joe Cannon – both formerly with the Los Angeles Galaxy – will be interviewed about their team’s outlook.

Fox Soccer Channel also interviewed D.C. United goalkeeper Zach Wells and his new teammate Marcelo Gallardo, as well as Juan Pablo Angel and Claudio Reyna of the New York Red Bulls.

Bretos will close the program with his predictions for the 2008 season and a preview of Fox Soccer Channel’s opening-day doubleheader – the first-ever in MLS history – on Saturday, March 29.

That day, America’s soccer network kicks off its enticing 35-match MLS Saturday on FSC slate with a live five-hour broadcast. The telecast begins with a half-hour pre-game show at 7:00 p.m. ET before the New England Revolution host the Houston Dynamo at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of the past two MLS Cup Finals, followed by the David Beckham-led Los Angeles Galaxy visiting the Colorado Rapids at 9:30 p.m.
